A Victorian pin with typical hinge and pin stem and added c. 1920 safety catch. It is gold filled and features a garnet framed carved shell cameo of a village scene with buildings and a tree. The back has a glass-covered locket containing a curl of blond hair. The pin is in excellent shape, with nice bright garnets and no damage to the cameo. It measures 4 by 3.3 cm.
