Georgian Stuart Crystal Cufflinks with History

A pair of silver cufflinks set with Stuart crystals. They have red foil under a gold wire design of two interlocked C's in a square. They come in a chamois bag with an old signed note detailing their history. The note reads :"Dr. Kendall Osgood's sleeve buttons and his wife's earrings(the earrings were not there) . She was Louisa Peabody, daughter of Ebenezer Peabody, who was the last man to leave the ground at the Battle of Bunker Hill." signed by Mrs. I. P. Osgood. Ebenezer Peabody, of Boxford Massachusetts, was born December 7th 1749 and died January 25th 1829. He was a lieutenant during the Revolutionary War. Louisa Peabody was born May 6th 1764 and died in November, 1796. She was the wife of Dr. Kendall Osgood who lived from 1756 to 1801. Their son, who lived from 1788 to 1849, was also named Dr. Kendall Osgood. It is interesting that Ebenezer Peabody was a son of Thomas Peabody and Ruth Osgood.
